RSPS Earns Top Spot in Annual Meritas Academic Olympiad
Under the coaching of
Laurie Cuda, chair of the RSPS Humanities Department, and the
direction of Tom Putz, the Greenway Middle School administrator,
Rancho returned to the Meritas Academic Olympiad and successfully
defended its title.

Rancho Students Participate in Pat's Run
Rancho Solano students and staff
took part in the annual Pat’s Run in Tempe on Saturday April 17th.
Pat’s Run is held in honor of Pat Tillman, who was killed in
Afghanistan in 2004 while serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment. The
4.2 mile run ends on the 42 yard line of Sun Devil Stadium; Pat
Tillman wore #42 for the Arizona State University football team and
later played for the Arizona Cardinals before enlisting after 9/11.

Rancho Solano Posts Record Medal Count in State Science
Fair
Following a series of
campus-specific science fairs, Rancho Solano was pleased to send
its first through fourth place campus science fair winners to the
Intel-sponsored 2010 Arizona State Science and Engineering
Fair.

Congrats to the Rancho Solano Greenway Mathcounts Team!
This past weekend, one of Rancho Solano's teams won the top 1
position as part of the Mathcounts Papago Chapter competition.
